Anti-Money Laundering Policy

The financial-crime controls behind every KingExch9 ID, deposit and withdrawal — effective 9 July 2026.

1. Purpose & Scope

KingExch9 is a WhatsApp-first booking service that helps Indian players obtain and manage King Exchange gaming IDs. Because real money flows through our settlement desk every day, we treat anti-money-laundering (AML) discipline as a core operating requirement rather than a legal formality. This document explains the rules applied to every ID issued under the KingExch9 name, every deposit we accept and every withdrawal we release.

The policy binds all customers, every payment channel we publish on our official WhatsApp line, and each member of our support and settlement team. By requesting or using a KingExch9 ID you accept the controls described below, including our right to pause any transaction while its legitimacy is being confirmed.

2. What Money Laundering Is

Money laundering is the practice of disguising funds earned through crime so that they appear to come from a legitimate source. It generally moves through three stages: placement (pushing illicit money into the financial system), layering (shuffling it through transactions to blur its trail) and integration (pulling it back out as apparently clean wealth).

Betting wallets attract launderers because a deposit followed by a quick cash-out can be dressed up as ordinary play. Our controls exist precisely to break that pattern. Terrorist financing — routing money of any origin, clean or dirty, towards unlawful activity — is treated with identical severity under this policy.

3. Our AML Controls

Six practical safeguards run on every KingExch9 account, every day. None of them can be waived by a support agent, no matter how long a player has been with us.

3.1 Registered payment methods only

Deposits are accepted solely through the bank and UPI channels our team shares on the official WhatsApp number. Money arriving through any unlisted route is not credited; it is returned to the sending account once traced.

3.2 Name-match on deposits and withdrawals

The account-holder name on the bank account or UPI handle used to fund an ID must match the name registered against that ID. The same check runs in reverse at payout time. Where the names differ, the transaction is held and the player is asked to complete it from a matching account.

3.3 No third-party payments

We never accept money from — or release winnings to — an account belonging to a friend, relative, agent or anyone other than the registered player. Withdrawals travel back only to a payment source the player has already deposited from. A detected third-party payment is reversed wherever possible, and the ID involved may be closed for good.

3.4 No cash transactions

KingExch9 does not deal in physical cash, hawala transfers, courier collections, gift cards or any settlement channel that hides the identity of the payer. Every rupee that enters or leaves an ID must travel on a traceable banking rail.

3.5 Transaction monitoring

Our settlement desk reviews activity around the clock and flags patterns commonly linked to laundering, including:

  • a deposit followed by an immediate withdrawal request with little or no betting in between (classic layering behaviour);
  • one ID funded from several different bank accounts or UPI handles;
  • structuring — breaking a large sum into many small transfers to stay under review limits;
  • a long-dormant ID that suddenly begins moving significant volume;
  • chat behaviour suggesting the ID is being operated for someone else.

A flagged account may be frozen while our compliance lead investigates, and remains frozen until the review concludes.

3.6 Source-of-funds queries on unusual volume

When deposits rise sharply beyond a player's normal pattern, we may ask where the money comes from before processing anything further. Salary records, business receipts or bank statements are acceptable answers; silence is not. Until a satisfactory explanation arrives, new deposits are returned and pending withdrawals stay on hold.

4. Thresholds & Verification

Day-to-day onboarding stays deliberately light: a working WhatsApp number plus a verified payment source, with the banking trail itself providing the identity link. Enhanced verification is triggered when cumulative volume crosses our internal review thresholds, when funding patterns look engineered, or when the details attached to a payment do not line up with the ID.

In those cases we may request further proof of identity or source of funds before the account continues trading. If a player declines or fails verification, any remaining balance is refunded to the original funding account — never to a new destination — and the ID is retired.

5. Prohibited Activities

The following actions breach this policy and lead to immediate suspension, with permanent closure where confirmed:

  • depositing money that belongs to another person, business or group;
  • renting, selling or lending a KingExch9 ID, or operating IDs as a money mule;
  • splitting transactions deliberately to slip beneath monitoring thresholds;
  • using stolen payment credentials, mule bank accounts or falsified documents;
  • attempting to convert criminal proceeds into withdrawals through token betting.

Balances tied to prohibited activity may be withheld while the matter is investigated and, where the law requires, surrendered to the competent authorities.

6. Record Keeping

We keep transaction logs, payment references and the WhatsApp threads connected to each ID in secure storage for as long as operations and dispute resolution demand. Records tied to flagged or investigated activity are preserved for a minimum of five years from the date the file is closed, so that a complete audit trail exists if it is ever lawfully requested.

7. Reporting Suspicious Activity

Any team member who spots a red flag must escalate it to the compliance lead the same day — investigation is never left to the agent who found the issue. Players can help too: if someone offers to route money through your KingExch9 ID, or asks to "borrow" your withdrawal channel, report it through our Contact Us page or the 24/7 WhatsApp support line. Reports are handled discreetly and never traced back to the reporter.

8. Staff Responsibility

Every support and settlement agent is trained on the red flags in Section 3 before touching a live account, with refresher training whenever this policy changes. Agents may not approve their own flagged transactions, may not override a freeze, and are strictly forbidden from tipping off a player that a review is underway. Breaching these duties ends the agent's engagement with KingExch9.

9. Cooperation with Authorities

Where applicable law requires it, KingExch9 will respond to lawful, properly served requests from competent authorities investigating suspected financial crime, including sharing the records described in Section 6. We do not volunteer customer data outside such lawful process — see our Privacy Policy for how personal information is otherwise handled.

10. Policy Review

This policy is owned by the KingExch9 compliance lead and reviewed at least once every twelve months, or sooner if our payment channels, monitoring tools or the surrounding legal environment change. The current version is effective from 9 July 2026 and supersedes all earlier versions. Material changes are announced on this page, and continued use of an ID after a change takes effect counts as acceptance. Related rules live in our Terms & Conditions and Responsible Gaming pages.
